Who are your biggest musical influences?
I grew up listening to Shania Twain, Trisha Yearwood, Kenny Chesney, all of the 90’s Country Music greats. Sheryl Crow and Colbie Caillat have also had a major play in the music I write today too. A little mix of country with a beach style.
Musical and non musical goal for 2019?
In 2019 I plan to release a new single in February as well as another EP in the summer! I also plan to play in new cities and continue to open up for more of my favorite country artists. As far as non musical goals, I want to embrace every part of this journey. I want to celebrate more of the little things in everyday life.
Where did you love for music come from?
I was raised by two parents who also love music. They both still play and sing in the church praise band, and also have a brother that I used to play with at local open mics in our hometown. Those experiences and the support really stuck with me and helped me continue to pursue my passion as I got older.
Your favorite place to perform/ tour?
My favorite show so far has been opening up for Jay Leno at a The Stambaugh Auditorium this past year on his comedy tour. Another one of my favorite places to play is at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville, TN.
If you could work with one female artist who would it be?
A dream of mine would be to collaborate with Sheryl Crow. I admire her ability to create her own identity in music which was able to crossover in multiple genres. I think she would have so much insight on the challenges of the music business and how to keep a steady career.
Your favorite sports team?
Football and Baseball are the main sports that I watch. Being a Tampa, FL girl I’ll always root for my home team in the NFL. (Go Bucs!) Also have a lot of of my family and my boyfriend who went to Florida State so I’m forever a Noles girl. As far as baseball, I love the Rays, which are also right in the Tampa Bay area.
