Jaclyn Batchelor was raised in the small town of Russellville in rural southern Kentucky where she discovered her passion for music. Once she reached high school and began writing her own songs, she realized that this was more than just a hobby to her. After graduation, she took a leap of faith and moved to Nashville. Jaclyn is now pursuing a degree in Music Business at Belmont University while recording, networking, and growing as an artist. She spends her summers backstage at the Grand Ole Opry and dreams of one day making her own Opry debut.
Over the past 20 years, Jaclyn has performed at venues and festivals across Kentucky and Tennessee, has performed at the Country Music Hall of Fame, Walt Disney World, and has recorded at Historic Studio B on Nashville’s Music Row. More recently she can be seen performing on WBKO TV and on radio stations across Tennessee and Kentucky. Last year, the 20-year-old founded and produced Homegrown, a charity showcase for Kentucky singer-songwriters, to encourage and promote music/arts education across the bluegrass state.
Jaclyn’s music combines the storytelling of classic country with the power that fuels soul music. She is very excited to be working with producers to record her first single to be released in the upcoming year.
