Who are your biggest musical influences?
My biggest musical influences are Kina Grannis, Ingrid Michaelson, Norah Jones, Kacey Musgraves, Tori Kelly, and Phoebe Bridgers. My music falls somewhere in between all of those artists.
Musical and non musical goal for 2019?
One of my musical goals for 2019 is to record and release a new single! I also hope to do some touring this year. Some non-musical goals are to read at least fifty books, take a cooking class, and get into better shape!
Where did your love for music come from?
I’ve always loved music from a very young age. My dad played music growing up and would often play guitar when I was younger.
Your favorite place to perform/ tour?
One of my favorite places to perform is a coffeeshop in my hometown called 49 West. When I was living in Maryland, I played a lot of songwriter nights there and the audience was always super attentive, listening to each lyric sung. It was great to connect with the audience there.
If you could work with one female artist who would it be?
If I could work with one female artist, it would be Kacey Musgraves. Her songs are always so clever and polished and she’s just so glamorous. I feel like I could learn a lot from her about being a strong, female singer-songwriter in the industry today.
