Where are you from?
I’m from a town called Mt. Lebanon, in the south hills of Pittsburgh, PA. I was born in Los Angeles, but we moved there when I was three, so it was my home all the way up until I graduated high school and moved to Nashville.
Who are your musical influences?
My biggest musical influence is Shania Twain. She is the reason why, in third grade, I decided I wanted to be a professional singer. After that, I started voice lessons and guitar and began songwriting. My other influences include Fleetwood Mac, Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Phil Vassar, and more recently, Maren Morris, Kelleigh Bannen, and Kelsea Ballerini.
Where do you get your inspiration?
My inspiration for songwriting comes from both experiences I’ve had and from stories I’ve heard from friends. I also love word play and cool titles that I can spin into stories. I was a double English and songwriting major in college, so it’s a bit of my nerd side coming out 🙂
What are you currently working on?
I just released a single called “Flame” to all major music platforms! I also am working on raising funds through Bandtwango’s crowdfunding platform. This will help me record new music in the new year and kick off a radio tour! Plus, in exchange for helping with my campaign, I get to send you cool incentives right in time for Christmas! Win-win.
